Majirel High-Lift is perfect for achieving cool, icy blonde shades, but it does not cover white hair. However, it can be used on hair with a small percentage (30% maximum) of evenly distributed white hair. For best results, use on virgin hair for a full head application or for touching up roots on coloured hair.

How To Use Majirel High Lift

Majirel High Lift should be mixed in a 1 to 2 ratio, with 50ml? (1 tube) of Majirel High Lift and 100ml ofL'Oreal Professionnel Cream Oxydant 30 volume (9%) or 40 volume (12%) for lightening up to 4½ levels. For lighter bases or when maximum lightening is not needed, we recommend usingL'Oreal Professionnel Cream Oxydant 30 volume (9%).

Application

Wearing suitable disposable gloves, apply the mixture with a brush to dry, unwashed hair, starting at the roots. Leave on for 50 minutes for optimum lightening. During this time, the colour of the mixture may change, but this is normal and will not affect the final result. To refresh the colour, add a small amount of warm water to the remaining mixture and apply to the lengths and ends for the last 5 minutes of the development time. After the full development time, emulsify carefully and rinse the hair well until the water runs clear. Virgin Hair Techniques

For virgin hair techniques, begin the application on the lengths and ends, leaving on for 15 minutes before applying to the roots and leaving on for an additional 50 minutes.

Colour In Techniques

If the lengths and ends are too light or very sensitised, use colour in techniques by applying Majirel High Lift to the roots for the desired lightening effect. Leave on for 50 minutes and then colour match the lighter ends with a corresponding DIA Light shade.

Colour Out Techniques

To remove a shade or incompatible reflect (such as gold, copper, or too ash), use colour out techniques. For up to 1 level of difference between the remaining shade on the lengths and ends and the desired shade, cleanse with Efassor mixed with hot water. For a darker shade, use Efassor andL'Oreal Professionnel Cream Oxydant 20 volume (6%) or 30 volume (9%). After cleansing, apply Majirel High Lift to the roots and leave on for 15 minutes. Then, select a suitable Majirel shade and apply to the lengths and ends, avoiding contact with the mixture on the roots. Leave on for an additional 35 minutes.
